Since this recipe and its ingredients comes from the Copper Harbor region of Lake Superior it seemed fitting to name it after the men and women who lived and worked there. This is a great hand soap and was used to clean the cast iron cookware. It removes odors even though the ingredients calls for none other than bear grease! It also calls for coffee grounds and "big lake sand". This has been a favorite with both men and women and I am only able to make it twice a year. No, it does not smell like bear grease but of coffee.
